Boris Spassky was invited to Ireland by Kilkenny Chess Club to celebrate the clubs 21st birthday.
He gave three simuls, one in Kilkenny organised by ourselves on 23/03/1991 and two in Dublin organised by Eamon Keogh. Not having thirty players in the club to play against him Kilkenny invited back all former players to participate.

The result as I remember was +22 =8

Draws were attained by Liam Brady, Sean Bradley,Ciaran Sharkey,Paud O Reilly,Maurice Buckley and Trevor Hunter et al.
