Irish Senior Championship 2004 - Round 2

Today's games at the Irish Chess Championships were all hard fought affairs and the opening of Stephen Brady's game below was the subject of a lot of lively discussion. I'm not sure a definite opinion was agreed upon though, see what you think.

The following game contains some of the most surprising moves I've ever seen in the notes to Black's 44th move. When I showed them to Paul Wallace afterwards, he said something like " We don't play the same game as these machines at all, do we?"
