Championship format/Trophies	The Championship was originally scheduled to be held in two discrete sections: Nemtzov Cup for Senior players and Henderson Cup for Intermediate players (under 1600). As allowed by the tournament regulations, the Tournament Director decided to amalgamate them into a single section with the rating band for Intermediate reduced to 1450. Separate prizelists and trophies were however retained.
